The Education Department has announced that students with disabilities must be given a fair shot to play on a sports teams. This can be done either through accommodations on traditional teams or through creating parallel athletic programs. It will be interesting to see how this reshapes sports programs in schools as it is being referred to as the Title IX for students with disabilities.
