Reading aloud to all students, even older ones, is very valuable. Students reading level doesn’t catch up to their listening level until about eighth grade. Reading for fun at least 15 minutes a day helps develop vocabulary, factual knowledge, and reading skills as well as provides another way to spend quality family time.
