Kim Noll, M.S., Ed.S., LEP, ABSNP
Director, Licensed Educational Psychologist
Board Certified School Neuropsychologist
Kim is a Licensed Educational Psychologist with nearly 20 years’ experience working in both schools and private practice with students of all learning abilities and all ages, from preschoolers to postgraduates.
As a specialist in learning assessment, educational consultation, and student advocacy, her passion is helping students understand their individual learning profiles so that they can take an active role in their learning and become advocates for their own needs. She uses the assessment process to uncover information that can help students access appropriate assistance and to generate an individualized learning plan that helps families understand what specific interventions to pursue.
Kim has both educational psychology and school neuropsychology specialties. She has also developed social cognitive classrooms at both the middle and high school levels; helped write a district crisis manual; taught and consulted in TEACCH-based preschool classes for students with autism; taught a middle school literacy class; served as a summer school principal for Special Education programs. Additionally, She has also served as President, President-Elect, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Santa Clara County Association of School Psychologists (SCCASP).
She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University as an undergraduate and pursued graduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning both a master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. More recently, she completed a post-graduate certification program and is certified by the American Board of School Neuropsychology to conduct school neuropsychological evaluations.
Her professional associations include:
- American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP)
- California Association of Licensed Educational Psychologists (CALEP)
- National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
- California Association of School Psychologists (CASP)
- Santa Clara County Association of School Psychologists (SCCASP), where she served on the board for several years and was awarded the SCCASP Achievement Award in 2006
- The International Dyslexia Association
When not working with clients, Kim enjoys being a lifelong learner. She attends regular training in research-based assessment and intervention practices in order to integrate more advanced neuropsychological principals into her assessments. She also attends Italian language classes, which she feels help her better relate to students learning English for the first time.
Additionally, she enjoys travel, learning about other cultures, reading, and cheering for the Huskers. Go Big Red!
