Sherry is currently a School Psychologist where she can demonstrate her expertise in data collection and analysis through special education consultations and evaluations. Sherry continues to grow professionally where she is always exploring ways to develop and acquire the skills and knowledge to be efficient and thorough in assessment and intervention strategies.

She was a College Advisor Intern for The Preuss School UCSD, a Promoting Achievement and Student Success (PASS) AmeriCorps Service Member, and a Substitute Teacher. She had also briefly worked as a School Psychologist in Clark County School District (Las Vegas, NV). These roles allowed her to demonstrate leadership qualities and produce research-based lesson plans to deliver high-quality mentoring, tutoring, and supportive counseling. Her passion, enthusiasm, and creativity allowed her to positively engage and promote school culture by conducting various school-wide events and providing in-classroom support to connect with the students, families, and school staff.

Being a San Diego native, you can bet that she is an avid San Diego Comic Con attendee.
