Angela Beeck, M.A.
Educational Specialist
Angela is an experienced education specialist with over 7 years of classroom teaching and intervention work. She is highly skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those struggling with reading, math, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Angela holds an MA in Education and is trained in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell’s Seeing Stars program, and other multisensory literacy strategies and early math interventions. She also has certifications in yoga and mindfulness for children, which she uses to support emotional regulation and focus in her students.
Currently enrolled in the Educational Therapy Certification program at UC Santa Cruz, Angela continually expands her expertise to serve her students better. She is skilled in developing individualized learning plans, providing case management, and offering parent education. Angela adapted to teaching a kindergarten pod during the pandemic, blending academic support with social-emotional learning.
With a deep commitment to creating supportive, engaging learning environments, Angela is dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her son Anders.
