Avery High, B.A.
Office Manager
Avery holds two Bachelor’s degrees from Chapman University in Political Science and Peace Studies. During college, Avery was drawn to the PyschoEd and Disability Studies fields, hoping to better understand what role the intersection of education, psychology, and disability plays in our lives. She was also very involved in volunteering her time to extracurriculars, serving as a board member for Camp Kesem, holding a VP role in her Greek organization, and playing DIII lacrosse during her time in Orange County. Through her undergraduate studies, Avery supported various organizations in business and administrative operations, delivering friendly and dedicated customer service.
Avery is certified in Mediation and Conflict Resolution (MCR), earning her credential in 2022. In 2023, she received her Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate and moved to North Vietnam to work as an English teacher for children and adults of varying English proficiency. Now back in the Bay Area where she was raised, Avery has joined Turning Points as the Office Manager, overseeing the day-to-day functions of the office, while delivering friendly support to current and potential families and their students.
In her free time, Avery enjoys spending time outside, coaching lacrosse, and nurturing new hobbies such as ukulele, fishing, and golf.
