As a lifelong educator and Bay Area native, May has experience working as a coach and educational advocate for over twenty years. She earned her BA in Psychology at the University of San Francisco and went on to complete her MA in Sociology and Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College.

She spent 15 years working in non-profit leadership and has experience designing, building, and managing educational and coaching programming serving students from elementary through higher education. Her most recent experience was spent running a coaching program for college-age students in the Bay Area.

May’s areas of expertise include:

  • Specialization in supporting secondary/college students and adults with ADD/ADHD and anxiety-related challenges learn and build executive function skill sets.
  • Using a holistic, lifestyle-focused coaching approach we’ll focus on creating more consistency and ease leading to success in everyday life.

  • Support designed to identify areas of success and growth within the work environment with an emphasis on improvement.
  • Support in resume review, job searching, cover letter creation and editing, as well as coaching focused on management and leadership.
• College admissions/success coaching for future and current college students
  • Candidacy building (9th-11th grade), essay writing/editing, building school lists, and family advising
  • Additional strategies to ensure timely graduation while in college, and support in career development post-graduation.

May’s goal is to help clients identify and connect their own values, experiences, and strengths into real life action plans for growth. When May isn’t coaching she enjoys cooking, being active outdoors, and spending time with her two kids and husband.
