Lindsay Jamieson graduated magna cum laude from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, specializing in behavioral neuroscience, and a minor in philosophy. During her academic journey, she served as a teaching intern and successfully completed an applied internship.
She was also a member of the Honors Program and completed an honors thesis on gender differences in borderline personality disorder. Additionally, Lindsay extended her research capabilities by collaborating with a diverse team of Fairfield students, medical students, and post-docs in an off-campus laboratory affiliated with Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York City. In this role, she conducted research centered on changes in neuropsychological performance, spanning from late pregnancy to three months post-partum.
Currently, Lindsay is back home in the Bay Area where she was born and raised. She is joining Turning Points to provide specialized tutoring and executive functioning support for clients as well as office/assessment support. With clients, she supports math through Algebra II and Geometry, Spanish, executive functioning skills, and reading and writing skills with programs like Barton and Visualizing & Verbalizing.
In addition to her work at Turning Points, she is also employed as a therapeutic riding coach, further expanding her skills in the psychology field. Lindsay’s commitment to psychology continues as she plans to attend graduate school in the field of psychology in the Fall of 2024. In her free time, Lindsay finds joy in the simple pleasures of sipping boba and practicing hot yoga.
